Robert J. Adams is an employee benefits veteran with a broad array of talents. Selected highlights of his career include:
– 6 years of experience in self-funding with a national Third Party Administrator; his duties included negotiating stop-loss contracts, account set-up and claims analysis.
-13 years in sales, account management and labor relations with a nationally recognized managed care leader.
– 5 years with a national broker, where he built and serviced a block of fully insured and self-funded business across Wisconsin, Illinois and the UP.
Bob joined The Rauser Agency late in 2012 to bring his proven track record of cost savings and employee satisfaction to businesses of all sizes, from the smallest two person group, to 10,000 life multi-site national accounts.
In his personal life, Bob has held Board positions with The Ranch Community Services (Fundraising Chair), the Curative Care Network, Friends of the Milwaukee Public Museum (Gala Event Chair), Shorewood Civic Improvement Foundation and the Shorewood Mens Club (Past President).
Bob is particularly proud of fundraising work for Lake Bluff Elementary School in Shorewood. Together with his wife Bonnie, Bob founded PLAY (People Love Active Youth) and in 2 years raised $150,000 for new playground equipment, involving the whole community, when skeptics said it would take a decade or more!
A graduate of Marquette University with a BA in Psychology, Bob was the beneficiary of a four year Chick Evans caddie scholarship. (Started by amateur golfer Chick Evans in 1930, there are 9,800 Evans Scholar alumni worldwide; currently 840 Evans Scholars attend 19 different universities.) Bob is grateful to the many doors opened to him from the game of golf. A true outdoorsman, Bob is also an avid fisherman, concentrating on Walleye, Northern and Muskie.
