Here are the health habits that result in a 76% lower risk of dying from cardiovascular disease and a decrease in death from all cancers:
- Not smoking
- Staying physically fit
- Keeping blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol numbers in check
- Maintaining a healthy weight
- Eating a healthy diet.
In a multi-year study of 44,000 adults conducted by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, it was found that only
2% achieved all five of these habits.
Just 2%! Really?
Dare to dream of health care cost reductions if we improved on those results.
