Survey after survey show that people without insurance are concerned about how they will pay for their health care. In the latest, the Kaiser Family Foundation Health Tracking Poll, 88% of respondents between the ages of 18 and 35 say health insurance is something they need.

The barrier to buying insurance is cost.

As we await the unveiling of insurance premiums in the new virtual marketplaces or “Exchanges” of The Affordable Care Act, it will come as a bit of a disappointment to learn that premiums will be no different than in more traditional markets.
