Tip 172- Does Your Auto Policy Include Medical Payments Coverage?

The Law Offices of Randall Reinhart June newsletter arrived last week. It included this good piece of advice.

These days, most of us have health insurance subject to high deductibles and other out of pocket expenses. But, if you make sure to have medical payments coverage on your auto policy, then, should you have medical expenses as a result of an accident, you would be reimbursed for the co-pays, deductibles and coinsurance of your health plan, up to the limits of your coverage.

I checked my policy. I have $10,000 of coverage per person for an annual premium of just $19 per auto.

Of course, I’m not in any hurry to collect under this coverage. But I’m sure glad I own it. For such a low cost, you should too!

Thanks Randy for helping me with this week’s Tip.
