Tip 26- Check, Please

When presented with a restaurant bill, I think we all take a look before paying to make sure the charges are right. That’s because mistakes happen. Funny how they’re usually not in our favor!
Insurance companies make mistakes on our bills, too. Clients routinely call us after discovering someone who should have been terminated is still on their invoice. Sometimes the error has somehow been missed for six months or even more!
But the time limit to go back and correct an error is usually just 30 or 60 days.
Regular audits of your insurer invoices should be a top priority.
