A prominent pharmacy chain may recommend that if you are covered by a specific insurer, you should consider a change. “But don’t change pharmacies, just insurers.”
Then a health insurer tells you they are dropping one healthcare system from their network and replacing it with another. “But don’t change insurers, just switch doctors.”
Health reform did nothing to slow rising health costs. And nothing to stem the tug of war between insurers and health providers.
Your best bet: change your lifestyle. Do your best to keep out of both the pharmacy and the hospital.
And avoid the tug of war altogether.
